01
We grow the fodder
Green fodder is the base of our buffaloes’ diet, so we grow Super Napier grass on our own land in Marapaguntla. Growing it ourselves means we know where it comes from and can cut it fresh.

02
Cut and carried by family
Our family cuts and collects the grass and brings it to the shed for feeding.

03
Chaff-cut for feeding
Before feeding, green and dry fodder is chopped in a chaff cutter so it is easier for the buffaloes to eat and less is wasted.

Shelter and care
Our buffaloes live in a shed that is cleaned regularly, with airflow, space to rest, and shade and water to help them through Prakasam summers. A veterinarian is called whenever an animal needs care.
